Zeller Realty Group specializes in repositioning office buildings and has been in the Indianapolis market since 1999. Zeller was the first to market with the concept of entirely repositioning an office tower in downtown Indy to meet the needs of a new generation. The impact of Market Tower’s renovation has extended into the city as other building owners plan to update surrounding towers upon seeing Zeller’s success with Market Tower.

How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?

By revitalizing the lobby and amenity package at Market Tower the tower was repositioned to create a vertical community. Removing the fountain and relocating the security desk allowed tenants to connect with one another and created an atmosphere for casual collisions – the second floor amenities allow tenants to step outside of their offices to play shuffleboard or ping pong, work individually in a variety of settings, or engage in team work in private or public meeting areas.

Zeller revitalized the lobby and created a full tenant amenity floor to help encourage community.

The West side of the second floor is dedicated to open collaborative seating and work options. Zeller was thoughtful with this design in a number of ways including the location and openness of the area as well as access to outlets both for electricity and connectivity to the multitude of TV displays throughout the collaborative areas. In addition to a large, technology enabled training room, Zeller now offers a variety of meeting spaces for both small group, collaboration, privacy; All with superior technology capabilities.

What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?

As soon as you walk through the doors at Market Tower your eyes are drawn to a 40 foot tall digital art display. This Phillips light wall is the largest vertical textile installation in North America and completely unforgettable!

How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?

Zeller’s priority is creating office buildings that enable tenants to recruit and retain – buildings that are an extension of the tenants’ office space and bring everyone together as a community. Market Tower is our poster child for collaboration, connectivity, and community.

How does your space engage your employee base?

The goal was to create a vertical community with hospitality feel and functionality. Working with a wide variety of office tenants we learned that whether we are dealing with a traditional accounting firm or a tech startup the goals are the same – to achieve more efficient, collaborative work spaces that keep employees happy. An individual’s first impression of a company begins before they get to the company’s suite – the first impression begins the moment they walk through the building’s front doors. For this reason, Zeller worked diligently to make sure that the first impression in the lobby would work for a variety of different types of companies.
