How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?

This Indianapolis location was specifically built to house our IT department that focuses on software development for our internal industry needs. The plan was carefully contrived to allow for all employees to have the ideal collaborative environment that encourages lively brainstorm sessions, direct access to natural light as well as easy proximity to gathering areas to maximize stress relief and creativity.

What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?

Commanding angled bulkheads that slice through the space, intermingled with fun angled slots carved into the lower ceiling, create spots of interest and discovery. Industrial pendant lighting drops from the slotted reveals to intensify the mystique and sense of planar disparity.

How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?

The expression of the UniFirst brand, is evident in platforms, artfully designed and placed, to display mannequins that serve as playful sculpture, as well as exhibiting uniform designs. The visual reminder of the company’s end goal serves to highlight the core purpose of the uniform business as well as motivate and instill pride in the employees.

How does your space engage your employee base?

Most of our talent base are recent college graduates and many have romanticized ideas about their first big city job in a unique and edgy atmosphere. We wanted to exceed those expectations by intentionally exploiting the natural architectural features of this older high rise building to create a special environment with inherent character, history and integrity.
