How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?

Studio Science’s space drives productivity, collaboration, and connectivity through a unique combination of open floor plan and private work spaces. Our desks are thoughtfully arranged to promote conversation and co-creation between team members. Glass whiteboards, chalkboards, and windows throughout the office are used to express new ideas, plans, and keep projects on time. Our conference rooms are not only used for client meetings, but as a quiet space for reviewing work and giving helpful feedback. And lastly, our library is a great place to recharge and find inspiration from a range of regularly updated periodicals and books.

What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?

The moment you step off the elevator into the office you notice the rustic reclaimed-wood table at the front. Directly across this community hub, the sun shines through a bright row of windows, providing a perfect view of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument and all the great downtown activity that happens around the Circle. Team members naturally congregate around this large table as a space for working, laughing, sharing meals, and fostering a strong community bond.

How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?

Studio Science’s office is a purposeful blend of modern and clean with aged and well-worn. This aesthetic exemplifies our belief that the most exciting ideas come by making unexpected connections. Our open work spaces and ubiquitous whiteboards demonstrate our belief that great work is created collaboratively and that everyone brings meaningful ideas to the table.

How does your space engage your employee base?

At Studio Science employee engagement comes from organically building relationships with the people you work with. Sharing experiences like Friday beer tastings, ping pong tournaments, chili cook-offs, and team member lead “lunch and learns” are just a few of the ways employees build meaningful relationships with each other as well as family and friends outside of the workplace.
