Our office's open plan encourages collaboration between teams and departments, and the sales "bullpen" area allows salespeople to draw energy and excitement from their fellow team members. For people who need privacy or time to focus, the Octiv office has several "focus rooms" available.
What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?
Visitors are greeted by a chalkboard wall that features the company's values. Created by the staff – with no imperative from the executive team – it's a true reflection of how the team feels about Octiv, the community, and each other. Couches and club chairs offer impromptu areas to collaborate, relax or work comfortably.
How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?
The Octiv team works hard but appreciates the ability to work comfortably. We also enjoy a connection that makes it easy for departments to communicate each other. The open plan of the space reflects that ease and focus on hard wok.
How does your space engage your employee base?
Collaboration is at the heart of Octiv's culture, and the spaces in the office facilitate engagement and collaboration no matter the size of the group. The lobby is large enough to hold most of the company's staff, and it often serves as a gathering space for large meeting. The bullpen also serves as a space for company-wide meetings.
