NextGear Capital is the industry’s leading comprehensive provider of lending products for vehicle dealers and auctions. NextGear Capital was introduced as a new company in 2013 when Carmel-based Dealer Services Corporation was incorporated by Manheim and merged with their financial arm, Manheim Automotive Financial Services. As a result of the merger and decision to keep the company based in Carmel, NextGear Capital expanded very quickly and moved its headquarters down the street in 2014.

How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?
Our centralized Café connects team members who work on opposite ends of our 100,000+ sq. ft. building. Collaborative furniture is spread strategically throughout our office and was specifically chosen to fit the needs of the departments that work in those areas. We have mobile white boards which are used for collaboration, sharing company-wide communications or just showing off artwork! TV’s are hung on the walls throughout the building and share company-wide info with departments being able to control the images on their TV’s to make it specific to their team’s needs.
What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?
Our lobby. Several team members have admitted that when they arrived for their interview, they were so impressed by the design they immediately knew they wanted to work for NextGear Capital.
How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?
We don’t have a lot of natural light due to our Headquarters being the former first wholesale club in Indiana, so our company colors are blended with funky, fun colors to brighten up our space!
Our branding is our color scheme and furniture style. Whether it’s our HQ in Carmel or one of our international offices, when you walk through our doors you know you’re at NextGear Capital.
How does your space engage your employee base?
The large, open concept Café works great for networking and charity events, new hire meet-and-greets and informal meetings. It connects team members daily – not just for lunch!
Our company is very active in the community locally, nationally and internationally and our office reflects our company’s passion. This is our home away from home and we want our team members to be as happy in their work environment as they are in their home environment!
