How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?
Our office space was designed to do just that: create an area where team members and coworkers can gather, and continue to innovate and disrupt industries that subscribe to “the way things have always been.” We encourage collaboration with large conference rooms, open work environments and several lounge areas throughout the entire office space. Focus rooms are provided for those needing a quieter atmosphere, while interview rooms are designed to give our team and potential new hires a space dedicated to maximizing our human capital effort.
What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?
That’s simple: the bold, innovative design. Our design pulls our core values all together: leading boldly with excellence, disrupting and innovating, and inspiring others. Mainstreet infuses consumer experience and new ideas into the fields of investing, real estate development, health care, private equity and student living so why not infuse the same innovation into our office space that caters to our guests and employees. With vibrant colors, rustic designs and high-end furnishings, our office space is modern and inviting. We want guests to feel welcomed when they enter our lobby, where they are greeted with a spiral staircase and floor-to-ceiling birch beams. Waves of natural light exude from our floor-to-ceiling windows and promotes a feeling of warmth and synergy that is carried throughout the remainder of our space.
How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?
The Mainstreet spark. Our logo. The spark represents Mainstreet and the four pillars of our company: faith, hope, love and excellence. These are seen in the colors of the walls. In the vibrant images employees have taken that line the office space. The brand wall in one of our conference rooms detailing key messaging and phrases. The spark logos around the office on people’s desks, hanging on the walls or welcoming a guest at the front door.
How does your space engage your employee base?
We’re lucky enough to have multiple areas throughout our office space dedicated to employee engagement. Common areas and open spaces are key to Mainstreeters gathering and connecting with one another. We pride ourselves on our culture and encourage employees to eat lunch together in our new kitchen, collaborate with one another in a lounge area or stroll through Clay Terrace to brainstorm innovative ideas in an effort to continue our mission of transforming lives. We host a variety of company gatherings, which many include family members. Our space is ideal for company-wide family Halloween trick-or-treat parties and company celebrations. Being located in Clay Terrace, it allows us to host Mainstreet corn hole tournaments outdoors, visits from the Kona Ice Truck and thrive on the energy from our surroundings.
