How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?

The open floor plan provides an amazing sense of community within our office team, but especially among our practice members. Our approach to health is one of collaboration with each practice member. It has become a place where like-minded individuals can meet, have great conversation over coffee from our "energy station" and participate in events that help their family live a healthier lifestyle.

Our work stations are all have optional standing-height desks, making our space productive and ergonomically effective for each member of our team. It allows us to practice what we teach, ensuring the best environment in which to work and thrive. We can meet in our lounge area or conduct more formal meetings at our conference table, host events and teach classes, all within our space.

What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?

The largest design elements that people gravitate toward right away are the gorgeous and grand metal sign and wire backdrop to our massive front desk, as well as the barn door that slides over our conference room and kitchen area. These large anchors provide grounding in the otherwise open and airy space.

How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?

State of the art, refined elegance is the theme of our space, as well as our purpose in practice. We want every person who walks through our doors to immediately feel like, "this is different." Different from other offices, but especially different from other health care settings. They get a different level of service and expertise - and it should be evident from the moment they walk through our doors.

The clean lines and excellent organization demonstrate our ability to focus and be attentive. The heavy furniture and delineated space reflects our certainty and confidence. The decor and special touches show our ability to be light-hearted. Our space reflects a well-rounded environment but approach to healthcare.

How does your space engage your employee base?

We hired our initial team before opening our doors. After accepting the position as Office Manager, our first employee drove by the space as it was still being built-out one evening. The construction crew had left a few lights on, and she could see the reflection of our office logo from the heavy metal sign above the front desk. She states that the grandeur of that image brought her to tears, and made her realize that she'd made the right choice taking a management position with a new company.

As we have hired additional team members, they are immediately comforted and excited about the level of professionalism exuded by the environment. They can see that the clients we attract want the best services around - and it calls our employees to step up to deliver that level of care.
