How does your space drive productivity, collaboration and connectivity?

Geofeedia’s office is unique that it does not have any dedicated offices. We have an open layout with 70 work stations, 4 individual “phone booth” rooms for private conversations, 2 small conference rooms, 2 large conference rooms, 2 open area nooks and 6 open, informal meeting areas. The mix of open space and private meeting space allows everyone to stay connected, collaborate and get work done!

What is the one thing that is unforgettable when someone walks through your space?

After visiting Geofeedia’s office, most people remember the open layout of the entire office and the entryway, including the genius bar, colorful, informal seating areas and the ping pong table.

How does your space tell your company’s story and reflect its brand?

Geofeedia is all about location and it is incorporated into the office decor as well. Our office has a larger than life, wrap around map mural on the wall, an unforgettable, colorful map mural of Indianapolis and a giant, hanging metal cut-out map of Indianapolis in our entrance right off the elevator. Geofeedia’s brand colors are reflected throughout the design details of our space. This includes: the blue and gray carpet, blue whiteboards, blue file cabinets at each work station, green conversation booth, yellow informal meeting space chairs and yellow walls in the phone booth conference rooms.

How does your space engage your employee base?

Three of our core values are directly reflected and supported by the design of our space and allow for high levels of employee engagement.

:: Act with a sense of urgency: Impromptu meetings happen all day long between team members in Indianapolis and in our other offices (Chicago and Naples). Whether it’s jumping into a small conference room, gathering around the “genius bar” or utilizing our HighFive video conference capabilities, our office has a spot for every type of meeting to make decisions quickly and drive our business forward.

:: Be passionate: The open layout allows the group’s energy to fuel lively conversations and builds enthusiasm throughout a day across departments. We celebrate everyone’s accomplishments and wins very openly, and we also know when a certain group needs more encouragement and support!

:: Have fun: Whether it is 8am or 5pm, more than likely there is a ping pong match happening in our office. The teams use ping pong as a stress relief, relationship building with some friendly competition and even a way to settle office bets! The genius bar is perfect for our team huddles, team lunches, after hours trivia nights and casual happy hours. With the addition of Sonos speakers, the mood is always set in our office by each zone’s D. J. for the day. The sleek kitchen is a hot spot for coffee in the morning, snacks all day long and drinks later in the day.
